The aquatic environment is unlike anything a child experiences on land. Buoyancy, breath regulation, and body balance all work differently. For a child, entering water is not just a new skill. It is a new physical reality.
Effective learning requires two systems to develop in parallel: the physical (coordination, balance, breath control) and the cognitive (spatial awareness, sequencing, emotional regulation). Overload one and ignore the other, and the result is incomplete.
