The SwimRight Method Progression Model

One connected system. Five structured programs.

SwimRight Method is one connected system built so that every student, regardless of age or starting point, enters at the right stage and develops skills that are real and lasting.

Not every student will move through every stage. The stages exist so that wherever a student enters, the system is ready for them — with the same standards, the same benchmarks, and the same outcomes.

The same standard, wherever you enter

Whichever stage a student enters, the SwimRight Method is ready for them. The same philosophy, the same standards, the same focus on skills that are real and lasting.

Why structured progression matters

The SwimRight curriculum advances students based on demonstrated skill, verified against the same objective criteria at every level. Time alone never determines when a student moves forward. Readiness does.

When foundations are genuinely in place, gaps never get the chance to form. Every advancement is earned. Every promotion is real.

Skill-based advancement means no student carries hidden gaps into the next level.

Every stage. A defined purpose.

The SwimRight curriculum is organized into five programs. Each one has a defined purpose, a clear focus, and a specific outcome.

The level means something

Students progress when they demonstrate readiness, not when a session ends. Because assessment criteria are standardized across all instructors, a swimmer at any level in any SwimRight facility has the same foundational capability.

Not time-based

No student advances because enough weeks have passed. Advancement is earned through demonstrated skill.

Verified at key stages

Mandatory survival assessments confirm that critical skills are solidly in place before students move forward.

Consistent across all instructors

The same assessment criteria apply everywhere. A level earned at any SwimRight facility reflects the same standard.

No hidden gaps

Skill-based advancement means students never carry unmet foundational skills into the next level.

Four reasons the model works

Safety

Every student at every level has confirmed survival skills. It is built into the system.

Confidence

Advancement reflects real ability. Students experience real, earned progress.

Speed

Solid foundations help students move faster at higher levels. Skipping steps costs time.

Skills that stick

Students do not just pass a level. They own the skill.
